Discount codes are entered on the Shopping Basket page. There is a box underneath the order summary to enter the code, and it is confirmed by clicking the orange "Apply" button.
When the code has been accepted, a green confirmation message will appear, and the discount will be applied in the totals column to the right.
If the discount code is no longer valid, or has been entered incorrectly, a red warning message saying "Discount Code Expired/Unrecognised" will appear instead.
If you see this message, please check the validity of the code (expiry dates can be found either on the website banner or newsletter email, depending on where you found the code). Be careful to enter it exactly as it appears, as even a small error will prevent the code from being recognised. It is often easiest to copy and paste the code into the box.
Be aware that many codes are applicable to selected products only. If you are entering a current code but do not have any items in your basket that qualify for a discount, you will see a message saying "This code is not applicable to the items in your basket".
The most common reason for this is that discount codes rarely apply to original (OEM) cartridges, and are intended for use on compatible and remanufactured versions. In most cases we can supply a compatible or remanufactured cartridge to the same specifications and with the same guarantee as the original.
